Hello Aika Online players,

Our usual weekly maintenance has been delayed by a day - if you want the gossip you really should be on our Aika Online discord.

This patch will be the launch of 75 cap! There is quite alot so I would expect a reasonably long maintenance although it may surprise us and be quick (or slow).

We are very excited to share this with you and you'll get some extensive patch notes to read through when its all ready to go!

Servers shutting off at 12.55 AM EST

Gonna be a long maint as bjorn will be migrating the servers which didn't go according to plan last week.

In my last patch notes I spoke about our desire to get a few more GM's onto the team. Here is what we hope these issues may address:

- Better communication with players
- Faster support response
- More ingame events
- More integration between players (GM's) and devs (Bjorn / Four)

Most of these are to support me within my role as I am not as active as I used to be. Those on discord will have noticed we have already appointed 2 new GM's:

- Raphy
- Yamiyo
- AntiMonitor

Over the next few days we hope to get a couple more. We'll be sorted some GM accounts for them over the next few days. Then we'll start off with some simple events so you'll start seeing them ingame.

I think its important to note a few points here:

- GM's will not log into your account, so therefore do not require your password or pin.
- GM's have a right to ignore you if you pm their personal account.
- All support requests should come through discord by messaging Fireheart, or the support section of the forums...

So there are quite a few bugs as you'll have noticed some of which you can handle and some of which are a pain. However the drops and mob strength was designed with the fact you can get ganked any minute in mind. We don't want people to be able to progress all the way through the contested land content overnight and then never use it again. Why? Because that isn't good for the game or for you guys.

We've taken the decision to temporarily switch it off, which means you will get kicked from the channel if you enter it. This is an annoying decision for us and for you guys I'm sure so sorry - hopefully we'll be up again as soon as we can get the part of it fixed (hopefully within 24hours). Unfortunately these things happen and with being a small team these things happen.

Planned changes will be the contested lands patch.

We will also be upgrading the game servers from 8c/16t to 32c/64t CPUs
And the DB server from 64 to 192 gigs of RAM along with switching from hard drives to SSDs.

The wait is over! Maintenance for 70 cap will be on the 18th March at the usual time of 11.55 PM EST.
Estimated downtime is 3-6 hours (being generous just incase!)

Dear all,

Quite an exciting update for you today. We are changing the amount of dpoints you get for your money!

Old Conversion:
$1 was 1000 dpoints

New Conversion:
$1 is 1500 dpoints

What does this mean?
If you buy dpoints you get more dpoints for the same money that you would have spent before.
If you buy dpoints off people for ingame gold there is more dpoints on the market so the price should go down!

Other changes
All purchases will now show up in USD. This makes it easier for payment wall to process and has been something they have asked us for awhile. This does mean dpoints got may alter with exchange rate.
The bonus %'s at higher amounts of dpoints have been changed, slightly reduced, to match the overall bonus given.
The Brazilian bonus has also been removed as you will still get the +50% as opposed to the +40% before, so a net positive overall.
